The LOOP Zurich Annual Report 2025 is now available

The LOOP Zurich looks back on a year of consolidation and targeted development. In 2025, the focus was on expanding the Biomedical Informatics Platform and strengthening data-driven translational research.
The LOOP Zurich Annual Report 2025 is now available. It highlights how The LOOP Zurich further developed its activities to advance innovative, data-driven precision medicine at the Zurich research hub.
A key focus was The LOOP Biomedical Informatics Platform (The LOOP BMIP). The initial build phase was completed in 2025. Following an intensive testing phase in the first half of 2026, the platform is expected to be made available to researchers at the founding institutions in the second half of the year. At the same time, it will be further developed in a targeted manner, including additional data types, analytical tools, and the integration of further projects and partners.
The interaction between Incubator Projects, Translational Projects, and Platform Projects was also further strengthened. Projects such as StimuLOOP, LOOBesity, mTORUS, and INTeRCePT demonstrate how closely biomedical informatics and clinical research can be integrated.
The Annual Report documents the progress The LOOP Zurich made over the past year and provides insight into ongoing activities to further develop data-driven precision medicine and support the translation of scientific findings into clinical practice.
