Curriculum Vitae
Prof. Menze studied physics at the Universities of Heidelberg and Uppsala; he obtained his doctorate in Heidelberg in 2007. He then worked as a postdoc at various well-known research institutions, including at Harvard Medical School in Boston, at the Center Inria Sophia Antipolis Méditerranée (F) and at MIT in Cambridge. From 2011 he also worked at the ETH Zurich. In 2013 Prof. Menze was appointed to a W2 professorship at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He has been researching and teaching there since 2019 as a full professor for image-based biomedical modeling at the Munich School of BioEngineering and at the Central Institute for Translational Cancer Research.

Curriculum Vitae:

Prof. Beltrao studied Biology at the University of Aveiro and conducted his research at the EMBL in Heidelberg. He received his PhD in 2007 in Aveiro. He then worked as a postdoc at the University of California in San Francisco. Since 2013 he is a group leader at the European Bioinformatics Institute of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Hinxton, UK. In 2015 he has received an ERC Starting Grant. His research is concerned with the cellular consequences of genetic variation
