Helmut Horten Foundation Professorship

On July 9, 2020, Dr. Bjoern Menze was appointed full professor for Biomedical Image Analysis and Machine Learning, Helmut Horten Foundation Professorship, by the University Council of the University of Zurich. He will take up his position at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zurich on September 1, 2020.

Thanks to the commitment of the Helmut Horten Foundation, important impulses can be set in biomedical informatics, which has meanwhile become an essential part of precision medicine, especially as part of our The Loop Zurich initiative. This will make a significant contribution to improving prevention, diagnosis and therapy for our patients.
