The LOOP Incubator Projects

On March 4th, 2024, The LOOP Zurich launched a call for incubator projects, expanding the support portfolio of The LOOP Zurich with additional components.
Unlike in The LOOP Translational Projects, the integration of a clinical research component or a biomedical informatics component is not mandatory for The LOOP Incubator Projects. Thus, the incubator projects constitute an important addition to The LOOP Zurich’s strategy in the field of precision medicine.
Researchers are encouraged to develop new research ideas. The goal is to evaluate novel biomedical concepts that could be subsequently transitioned into The LOOP Translational Projects. Thematically, these projects cover a wide range and may include mechanistic aspects, innovative diagnostic and therapeutic procedures or new medical technology solutions.
The total budget for the incubator projects amounts to 1 million CHF, and the project duration is set at 3 years.
