The LOOP Zurich Platform Projects

The LOOP Zurich Platform Projects specifically promote collaboration between at least two institutions in order to pool complementary expertise and resources for the further development of the LOOP BMIP.
Funding is available for projects that integrate new types of health-related data – such as omics, imaging, or near-real-time data – into the platform, or that develop new analytical methods for evaluating large, heterogeneous medical datasets.
The goal is to better predict disease progression and treatment response in order to support clinical decision-making. Funding amounts to up to CHF 1 million over a maximum of three years; two funded Platform Projects are currently underway.
