A Strong Network
The LOOP Zurich was founded by the University of Zurich (UZH), ETH Zurich (ETH), and the university hospitals – University Hospital Zurich (USZ), University Children’s Hospital Zurich (KiSpi), Balgrist University Hospital, and the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich (PUK). Its aim is to combine the complementary strengths of these Zurich institutions in a joint research initiative and to develop them sustainably.
In legal terms, The LOOP Zurich is a simple partnership in which the participating institutions share rights, obligations, and costs. In jointly operating The LOOP Zurich, the six partner institutions are committed to the following guiding principles:
